Kootenay life is a passion project that has turned into so much more. Our founder, Nate, started Kootenay Life in Cranbrook British Columbia in 2013. He was joined in business by his partner in life and adventure, Heather. Together they are rethinking Kootenay Life’s role in sustainability, the local economy, community and craftsmanship. In this spirit we began to source Canadian made products and we personally cut and sew each tag on every piece of merchandise. We have also started sponsoring young athletes throughout the Kootenays with apparel as well as donating to local events and charities such as Jumbo Wild and Wildsight.

 

From the east Kootenays to the west Kootenays we realize Kootenay life has a different meaning for everyone; but there is one thing we all have in common...we love it here. We live here, we work here, we play here.
